Next Door Neighbors

At the Palo Alto Apple Store, I was helping a young couple from Chicago who had just moved to the Bay Area; they were looking for new iPhones. Their surname was "Jensen," and having grown up in Northern Utah, that name was pretty commonplace around where I lived. So I asked them where they came from.

"Brigham City," said the man. I said, "Do you know Kent Jensen? He lived on 4th North there, and I used to play with him as a kid." We Reeds were family friends of the Pohls, next-door neighbors of the Jensens, so we visited them frequently, about seven miles from where we lived out in the little town of Corinne.

"Yes, that's my Uncle Kent, he still lives in the same house!"

I said, "Well, ask him if he remembers playing with Johnny Reed, OK?"

I wonder if Kent remembered me?
